Bacck hand corruption

Cambridge City Council did not have the information requested.

Alistair Dawson

Dear Cambridge City Council,
I am stilll so disappointed about the decision to close the histon road squash courts 4 years ago which at the time seemed like nothing short of a back hand decision made 10 years earlier due to ill informed information or corruption.
4 years ago we asked for the information which was available that aided this decision but very point blank we’re refused that this information was lost or unavailable which confirmed our initial thoughts that we have zero respect in the honesty of cambridge county council. Again this will fall on deaf ears but i thought i would raise it again anyway

Yours faithfully,
Alistair Dawson

Thank you for your request for information above, which we have dealt with
under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

I hope the following will answer your query:

The site at 295 Histon Road was allocated in the Cambridge 2006 Local Plan
following its first identification by the Council within the Cambridge
Urban Capacity Study (September 2002), which informed the development of
the Cambridge Local Plan 2006. Since the previous Freedom of Information
response to the Freedom of Information request dated 23 December 2015,
there is no additional information available regarding the decision
to allocate the site in the Cambridge Local Plan 2006.

We aim to provide a high quality service to you and hope that you are
satisfied with this response. If you have any further questions please do
not hesitate to contact us.

Yours sincerely
