BA Economics statistics on gap years and exam resits
Dear University of Cambridge,
I would like to request, under the Freedom of Information Act, the following figures for BA Economics, for the years of 2014, 2015 and 2016. Please include statistics for 2012 and/or 2013 as well, if possible.
(1) the number of applicants who have taken a gap year
(2) the number of offers given to applicants from (1)
(3) the number of applicants who, after a gap year, have resat exams
(4) the number of applicants from (3) who are given an offer
(5) the number of applicants who have been given a conditional offer after not being given an offer the previous year
- are students who take gap years and resist exams disadvantaged? If so, to what extent?
If you could answer these questions and provide the requested data I would be very grateful.
Thank you.
Yours faithfully,
Amelia Evans
