Dear British Transport Police,

I am submitting a freedom of information request for the following information:

The below questions pertain to what is considered B-Division unless otherwise expressly stated.

How many officers are currently on any sort of temporary duty restrictions – ie: not front line capable owing to medical issues?

How many officer have been on said restricted duties for 6 months or more?

As of April 2017 – The British Transport Police ‘Demand Review’ went ‘Live’ using the available and current date; what percentage increase or decrease of front line officer have gone sick or are on a temporary duty restriction covering the same period. Please provide numerator and denominator.
For the same time frame (dates as above) could you provide the same data for the previous 3 years? (2014-present)

What percentage of officers are available and have been available since April 2017 and are allocated to responding to emergency calls within B division at any one time (24 breakdown for this would be applicable, hour by hour, please provide numerator and denominator)? Please do not include officer abstractions to any pre planned operation.

How many officers after 1900h are sent on solo patrols? (average per evening for the past 12 weeks- date order)

Please advise what algorithm, consultancy firm, statistics or any other information that was harnessed to develop the current deployment strategy and roster for operational officers? (Eg: Sheffield University's work for LAS - Ambulance Response Programme - similar work to this)

How many rosters are now in force across the force?

What data is being harnessed to assess the effectiveness of the demand review. I:E increase or decrease in crime, effectiveness in policing, patrolling?

When will the effectiveness of the review details be published? What analysis will be published regarding this?

Have any members of the senior management team left the project?
