Dear Daniel

I have been asked to seek further clarification from you.

Childrens Services in Slough is run by Slough Childrens Services Trust. This was a decision made by the DfE following a poor Ofsted report. Therefore it is not a service which has been outsourced.

Could you clarify if your request is concerning the recruitment process of the vacancy or the actual post.

Regards, SBC FOI Officer

Answer

Slough Children’s Services Trust will normally complete all recruitment
internally. However, due to capacity issues we approached an external
agency (Penna) to support us with this specific piece of work.

We do have a PSL in place (though this is due for renewal very shortly)
and if any agency wishes to participate in this then they are welcome to
submit their details to us for consideration.

We aim not to use agencies for recruitment and would generally only use
them for hard to fill roles.

Should you wish to submit your details for consideration please email :
