Dear [name removed]

I write further to our email acknowledging your request for an internal
review into the handling of your request for information.

You have requested an internal review of the Council's response in
relation to your request.  I have undertaken the internal review and the
outcome of my review is set out below/attached.

Dear Barnet Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information
reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Barnet Borough Council's
handling of my FOI request 'Average wait times for Adult Social Work Needs
Assessments'.

I do not agree with your assessment under Section 12.

I have a number of officers to investigate whether there is any
possibility that we could supply this information.

There are a large number of requests and each assessment is judged on it's
own merits and prioritised - therefore an urgent case may be dealt with in
a matter of weeks and less urgent means they stay on the list for much
much longer.  To work out an average we would have to manually check the
list against work actions and work steps (all manually) there for it would
take days or weeks to accurately come to a time frame as an average.  Plus
the average wait would change from month to month due to seasonal
demand.

Because the council doesn't have have a programme report writer for MOSAIC
which holds the data. It would take a minimum of 83.3 hours to create the
report which is why S.12 was engaged.

I do regret that I have to confirm that we are unable to provide this
information.

Your Rights

If you remain dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have a
right to appeal to the Information Commissioner at:

There is no charge for making an appeal.
