Dear Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service,

I am seeking specific information regarding the finances of the Authority, as listed for clarity:

1. Please provide the total cost to the Authority following the recent departure of the Chief Fire Officer, to include additional pension payments or salary to include incentive payments?
2. Please provide the total cost to the Authority for the 'lease vehicles' paid on behalf of the SMT, to include Station Managers, Group Managers, Area Managers, Asst Chief Officer/s, Deputy Chief and Chief Fire Officer?
3. Please provide the total cost to the Authority for the SRT to include:
a. Operational costs
b. Training (Off site, outside UK)
c. Training (Off site, UK)
4. Please provide the individual total cost to the Authority for the following Frontline Operational sites (to include staff salaries, en-cost & pensions as at August 2018) - Kirkdale, City Centre, Kensington, Speke, Toxteth, Old Swan, Belle Vale, Aintree, Croxteth, Birkenhead, Bromborough, Heswall, Upton, Wallasey, Crosby, Bootle Netherton, Formby, Southport, Kirkby, Eccleston, Prescot, St Helens and Newton Le Willows.
5. Please provide the total cost to the Authority for the Fire Service Network to include Fire Service Direct?
6. Please provide the total cost to the Authority for individual Community Safety departments, based at Wallasey, SHQ, City Centre, Bootle Netherton, Belle Vale and St Helens, to include the specific breakdown of costs (staffing, site costs)?
7. Please provide the total cost to the Authority for any individual additional payments made to the SMT, excluding salaries/pension, to include the following employees - Chief Fire Officer, Deputy Chief, Asst Chief/s, Area manager/s. This should include lease vehicles, resilience, CPD and any other payments?
8. Does the Authority have credit cards, if so who is designated to use them, and what are the present balances?
9. Please provide the total cost to the Authority for the Incident Investigation team, to include the Fire Investigation dogs?
10. Please provide the total cost to the Authority for 'resilience' payments made to frontline staff who opt to provide this contractual service, further does the payment differ depending on rank?

• What year/s do you want the information for?
• In Q2, what do you mean by SMT? We don't have a group by that title and all the ranks mentioned in your request are not in the Strategic Leadership Team. SLT is the CFO, DCFO, ACFO, Area Managers and non-uniformed Directors.
• In Q5, the Fire Support Network no longer exists and when it did it was a separate organisation to MFRA. Please confirm if you still want the information for FSD, which is part of MFRA.

I would like the information for 2017/18 and current year, with separate information for stated years.
