Dear Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency's handling of my FOI request 'ATA status in the UK'.

In the first instance, you have stated that this information is outside of the purview of the act, when this is clearly not correct; there is very little public information which is outside the act, and if you are relying on an exemption, you must clearly state what this exemption is.

Moreover, you have stated in relation to the IPC "Full approval was subject to the demonstration that the structure and processes of the IPC met the necessary standards" which makes it implicit that such standards exist, and as such these should have been release as part of my request.

To suggest that an application will be considered on its merits, without releasing or otherwise publishing these standards is clearly not lawful, and is a restriction on trade.

Please supply me with details of the standards and assessment process that a new ATA would have to meet, as previously requested

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/a...

Yours faithfully,

Robert Paul Jameson
