Asbestos at King's Buildings

Roedd y cais yn rhannol lwyddiannus.

Dear University of Edinburgh,

Please provide information on the prevalence of asbestos in buildings at King's Buildings (KB) campus. In particular please answer the following questions:

1. What percentage of buildings at KB are thought to have asbestos?
2. What percentage of asbestos has been removed from buildings at KB?
3. How much has been spent on removing asbestos from KB since 2015?
4. What ongoing measures does the university have to identify and remove asbestos from buildings at KB?
5. How much compensation has the university paid out (directly or indirectly via insurance companies etc.) for historical asbestos exposure? This can be limited to years since 2000, or however long records exist.
6. Have any staff members suffered from mesothelioma as a result of working at KB?

Yours faithfully,
J. Dennis
