Hi there,

I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act.

1. Please could you disclose the number of arrests made by your police force in schools of a) students and b) staff in the calendar years 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020?

2. Please could you disclose the ethnicity of those arrested in each of the above years?

3. Please could you disclose the number of charges that were made as a result of those arrest in each of the above years (if any), including what the charges were?

4. Please could you disclose the ethnicity of those charged in each of the above years?

We have made enquiries with the PQR Performance team analyst and the above
is all of the information they have been able to retrieve.

 

Please note any statistical data supplied in relation to Freedom of

was received by the Freedom of Information office and is subject to

The Cleveland Police response to your request is unique and it should be
noted that Police Forces do not use generic systems or identical
procedures to capture and record data therefore responses from Cleveland

internal review of your case under our review procedure. The APP College
of Policing guidance states that a request for internal review should be
made within 20 working days of the date on this response or 40 working
days if extenuating circumstances to account for the delay can be
