Myself and my wife and both on ILR status in the UK
My wife had gone to India while pregnant for a vacation and was not able to come back to UK as all flights were cancelled because of COVID situation
Our baby was born in India on 17th May 2020
Is she eligible to get a British Passport ?
If so, can we apply through the British High Commission in India

ILR would only cover children born in the UK to be eligible for a British passport, as your daughter was born outside of the UK she is not eligible.
You will need to apply for an Indian passport for her initially, then you can look into registration for her when she is in the UK, so she can then have a British passport.
