on council employed political advisors which we received on 17/07/2019.

 

Please find below, Sheffield City Council’s response to your request:

 

The Council appointed two Political Assistants until 2014/15 - one for the
Labour group and one for the Liberal Democrat group. These roles ceased in
2014/15 and roles of Policy Officers were created to support the two
largest political groups on the Council.

 

Expenditure on each of the Political Assistants in 2014/15 was £50,419.45.
This includes basic salary and costs.
