AMES 2019 entry statistics
Dear Trinity College, Cambridge,
I am writing to request information on applicants for the Asian and Middle Eastern Studies applicants for the 2018/19 cycle (i.e. applicants for 2019 entry or deferred 2020 entry).
May I know:
- The number of applicants, number of applicants interviewed, number of applicants given offers and the number of applicants placed in the pool at Trinity College for the 2018/19 cycle.
- The GCSE grades of all applicants. If this information is unavailable, then can I instead receive the range of GCSE A* grades
- The scores of each applicant in each section of the AMES admission assessment. If unavailable. May I receive the average scores?
- The language combinations chosen by each applicant (I.e. Arabic and French)
Yours faithfully,
Laura Crawley

Dear foi,
Thank you for the response! Would I be able to receive all this information for each applicant in a table such as the Land Economy request by the user Kwai Huang that you responded to today?
i.e. for each applicant, list their GCSE A* count, their AMES admission assessment score, whether they were given an offer and their language combination. May I also receive their individual interview scores in this table?
Thank you once again!
Yours sincerely,
L. Crawley
Dear Laura Crawley,
Please see attached the information you have requested. I have not included the language combination as the data is so small that it is exempt under 40(2) of the Act as it might be possible for individual applicants to be identified.
Yours sincerely,
Chris Morley
