ALP

Roedd y cais yn rhannol lwyddiannus.

Dear Cleveland Fire Brigade,

Can you please explain if the ALP at Middlesbrough is off the run?
If so how long has it been off and how is it staying off and why?
Is the CARP at Saltburn the only aerial capability the brigade currently has?
Should this retained resource not be manned full time and in a central location?
Some of the distances it has been covering lately are bizarre
Please supply a list of all jobs and locations the CARP has attended since the ALP has been off the run

Yours faithfully,

Jonathan Davis

Dear Jonathan Davis

Thank you for your email which was received at 09:37 on 08 September.

With regards to the time limit, as advised on our website, due to the COVID-19 situation it is possible that we may take more than 20 working days to supply information under the Freedom of Information Act. The Information Commissioner recognises that longer timescales may be required when CFB staff have to prioritise work to keep critical emergency services running during this situation.

Dear Jonathan Davis

Freedom of Information Request

I am writing further to your email of 07 August 2020 where you requested
the following information:

Can you please explain if the ALP at Middlesbrough is off the run? No

If so how long has it been off and how is it staying off and why? However
it was off the run from 03 Aug to 17 Aug to repair a hydraulic oil leak.

Is the CARP at Saltburn the only aerial capability the brigade currently
has? No, the CARP based at Saltburn is not the only aerial capability
available to the Brigade.  Arrangements are in place with adjoining Fire &
Rescue Services for additional aerial capability if required.

Should this retained resource not be manned full time and in a central
location? The CARP meets applicable attendance timescales with its current
staffing configuration and location.

Some of the distances it has been covering lately are bizarre Please
supply a list of all jobs and locations the CARP has attended since the
ALP has been off the run.  Please see the attached spreadsheet.
