Dear Sir or Madam,
further to the recent request of Bob Summers and the subsequent response I wish to seek clarification on the response provided and the information held by the University on allegations of HARRASSEMENT ,BULLYING AND OR INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOUR BY THE vice Principal of CASE During her service at Dundee.
Please clarify wether or not any staff have transferred following incidents with the Vice PRINCIPAL EITHER AT THEIR REQUEST OR ATHE REQUEST OR WITH THE ASSISTANCE OR ANY DEPT WITHIN THE university or any part of the CENTRAL services including the PRINCIPAL OR secretary OF THE University.
Yours faithfully,

Dear Ms Big,
Thank you for your request for information. Mr Summers did not mention allegations of bullying, harassment or inappropriate behaviour in his request to the University. His request solely concerned requests for transfer from the College of Art, Science and Engineering. However, the University has received a request recently concerning allegations of bullying and harassment by Vice Principals. The University's response can be consulted in full here http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/al.... I trust that the information provided there answers any questions you may have on this subject?
The Director of Human Resources has confirmed that no redeployment of staff from the College of Art, Science and Engineering has taken place as a result of the type of incident you specify. Please treat this email as notice under S.17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 that this information is not held.
Yours sincerely,
Alan Bell

Dear Mr Bell
Thank you or your response I have taken time to consider this and have also received some advice concerning my request andIam somewhat disappointed by your response and as a result I have some additional questions which I wish to raise. I understand that at a number of individuals have requested and been granted a change in their affiliation of College and that this is recorded either by their department or indeed by HR. Perhaps the wording of my request and that of others was sufficiently vague to enable you to respond negatively. I am therefore re phrasing my question to ask if any members of University staff have asked for a change of affiliation of college as a result of allegations of aggressive, inappropriate or bulling behaviour by the Anne Anderson the VP of the COLLEGE of CASE. In addition are there any reported allegations of inappropriate behaviour, bullying or harrasment against the VP of CASE since she was appointed to the position of VP. Did THE university carry out background checks on Anne Anderson on her records and any previous allegations of bullying and harassment in previous roles prior to appointment by the UoD. dOES THE university routinely carry out such checks for senior appointments. Will such checks be put in place prior to the appointment of a new PRINCIPAL.
Yours sincerely,
Ms Liz Big
Dear Ms Big,
Thank you for your request for information. I am sorry that you were disappointed with the University's response to your previous request. The intention was to provide relevant information where held by the University. However, as with your previous request the University does not hold much of the information you seek. Where that is the case please treat this email as notice of that under S.17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.

4. Does the University routinely carry out such checks for senior appointments?
The University routinely takes up references for appointments, including senior posts.
5. Will such checks be put in place prior to the appointment of a new Principal?

I trust that this information is useful. If you have any questions or I can offer any clarification please contact me.
Yours sincerely,
