Alcohol Test Purchases
Dear Inverclyde Licensing Board,
Could you please advise how many test purchases have been made in
relation to underage alcohol sales for the period Jan 2013 -
October 2015? Where possible please break down by month.
Of these test purchases, please advise how many were recorded as
failures? In the event of a failure, please advise how many
resulted in the premises license being revoked?

I refer to your Freedom of Information request with regard to Alcohol Test Purchases between January 2013 and October 2015.
Police Scotland carry out test purchasing and you would therefore require to contact them for statistical information.
Where a test purchase has failed, Police Scotland may request a Review of the Premises Licence and I can confirm that no licensing Reviews by Inverclyde Licensing Board have been considered during the period indicated.
A copy of the Freedom of Information Review Procedure is attached for your information.
