Agency Worker Use within Social Work
Dear Dundee City Council,
I am seeking information relating to the use of agency social workers within the Council. Please could I ask you to supply the below information for the 2021 calender year;
1) The number of agency social workers used in
(a) Adult Services
(b) Children and Families
(c) Criminal Justice
2) A breakdown of the agencies used, spend per agency, and the volume of workers engaged from each

Dear Sir
In regards to the response we recently sent to you, it has been brought to
my attention that the figures given for Children and Families and CJS is
for all agency workers and not just social workers. We do not hold this
information seperately and to obtain this would incur excessive costs.
