FOI, Stirling Council

Dear Requester,

I am contacting you with regards to your current Freedom of Information
(Scotland) Act 2002 request as referenced above.

Following the sad news of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the
State Funeral will be held on Monday 19 September, with that date being
declared a national bank holiday.

In accordance with this, the Scottish Information Commissioner has since
advised that Monday 19 September will not count as a working day for the
purpose of responding to FOI requests.

In order to reflect this in responding to your current request, we are
adding one working day to the Council’s response deadline date that we
previously sent to you in our original acknowledgement email.  There is no
need for you to do anything, as we will update the deadline date on our
systems accordingly.

Please note that Scottish public authorities, including Stirling Council,
continue to be required to respond promptly to requests, and within 20
working days.

Further information about this can be found on the Scottish Information
Commissioner’s website here:

Yours sincerely,

Caroline Weintz
