FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 - INFORMATION REQUEST

Thank you for your request for information received on the 18^th July
2022. We have considered your request and enclose the following
information –

(1) What was the value of spend on temporary staff from recruitment
agencies by the Council in 2020 – 2021 and 2021 – 2022? Please also ensure
that a gross spend value is detailed and include all spend associated to
any contract let for the management/provision of temporary staff by a
contracted provider (whether Vendor neutral or Master vendor). Please
ensure that all figures are provided separately by year.

2. If you have a managed service provider (MSP) in place for the provision
of temporary agency staff, please provide the following:

a. How was the contract to manage/provide the supply of agency/temporary
staff let? 

A further competition was undertaken off the National Procurement Services
(NPS) Provision of Temporary Workers framework arrangement ref:
NPS-PSU-0088-18 Lot 2 Vendor Neutral Solution, for a Managed Service for
the provision of Temporary Workers.

b. Who was the contract to manage/provide the supply of agency/temporary
staff let to?

/agency staff commence, how long does it run for and what is the end
date?  

Start date 01 April 2021

3 years (Option to extend for a further 12 months after 31 March 2024)

End Date 31 March 2024
