Agency Spend in Derbyshire County Council

We're waiting for Francisca Coker to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Derbyshire County Council,

Please can you state the total number of Permanent Placements made between Feb 2016 – Feb 2017.

Also could you please state the name of each agency that has placed a candidate with your Local Authority along with the number of placements they made between the dates above.

Can you also state the number of vacancies that were filled by Derbyshire’s recruitment team using their own recruitment methods.
This is a request looking into the usage of agency staff in the social services at Shropshire For the following, please can you differentiate between the Adults and Children's services.
- How many social workers are employed as locum? What percentage of the social services are locum staffs in children's services?
- How many social workers are employed as locum? What percentage of the social services are locum staffs in adult's services?
- How much does locum staff in social services cost the authority each year?
- How much is spent hiring permanent staff through agencies?
- How many social workers have been hired as permanent staff in the past year? For this please could you differentiate between the ASYE staff and experienced hires. Also, how many of these hires have been through agencies?

Yours faithfully,

Adeola Coker
