Dear Croydon Borough Council,
Under the Freedom of Information Act, I kindly request the
following information in relation to eligibility criteria and spending for adult social care services:
1. From 1st April 2011, what is your council’s set eligibility criteria banding for social care services, as set out in the statutory guidance; ‘Prioritising need in the context of Putting People First: A whole system approach to eligibility for social care. Guidance on Eligibility Criteria for Adult Social Care, England 2010’.
2. What was your council’s eligibility criterion banding for social care services on 1st April 2010?
3. What was the total spending on adult social care for the
following financial years:
i. 2005-06
ii. 2006-07
iii. 2007-08
iv. 2008-09
v. 2009-10
vi. 2010-11
4. What was the spending on adult social care for adults aged 18-65 with a learning disability, for the following financial years:
i. 2005-06
ii. 2006-07
iii. 2007-08
iv. 2008-09
v. 2009-10
vi. 2010-11
5. How much funding for adult social care has been allocated in the 2011-12 council budget?
6. Does the answer to question 3 include all additional funds for adult social care as announced in the Comprehensive Spending Review in October 2010?
7. How much funding will the council receive in 2010-11 of the additional £1bn on social care funding, announced in the
Comprehensive Spending Review in October 2010, from the NHS?
