Dear South Ayrshire Council,

I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information.

Please could you provide the necessary information in relation to the following questions for Adult Social Care:

Q1. Which IT system are you using in the department specifically as a core case management system and any other supporting software holding information on individuals supported by your adults care services? Please provide the name of system and supplier.

Q2. For each system identified in Q1, please could you let us know when each of these systems were first implemented and associated cost per year? Please breakdown the total cost of each into licence fees, annual support, professional services (training, implementation, consulting etc).

Q3. For each system identified in Q1 please could you let us know what the length of the current contract is and the date the contract ends?

Thank you for your recent enquiry which was given the above reference
number.

 

1. Adult Social Care System: CareFirst   

Supplier: OLM Systems ltd

 

2. Implemented Adult Social Care on CareFirst in November 2020

CareFirst was purchased for £214,623 (ex vat) in March 2017 and Adult
Social Care was implemented in the 3^rd phase

For Adult Services there were the additional milestone payments (ex vat)
of:

Technical installation of CareFirst for SCJ, Childrens, Adults  £53,000
April 2017

Implementation team training £7,500 June 2017

Adults UAT complete £16,000 October 2020

 

3. CareFirst: OLM: 3yr Annual Support & Maintenance Renewal: 1^st July
2020: 30^th June 2023: yr1 £41,303.00 yr2 £42,542.09 yr3 £43,818.35

 

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request you can ask for
a review.  A request for a review must be submitted within 40 working days
