Admissions Statistics
Dear University of Oxford,
Please could you provide me with the below information for the following eight courses at your university: Medicine (A100); Economics (LN12); History (V100); PPE (L0V0); Mathematics (G100); Physics (VF53); Mathematics and Computer Science (GG14); Biology (C100)?
For each college at your university, in this year's application cycle (2018-19):
1) The total number of applicants.
2) The total number shortlisted for interview.
3) The total number of offers.
4) The average entrance exam score in each section of that exam for applicants.
5) The median number of A*s/8s/9s at GCSE for applicants.
6) The median predicted A-level A*s for applicants.
7) The average entrance exam score in each section for those shortlisted.
8) The median number of A*s/8s/9s at GCSE for those shortlisted.
9) The median predicted A-level A*s for those shortlisted.
10) The average entrance exam score in each section for those made offers.
10) The median number of A*s/8s/9s at GCSE for those made offers.
11) The median predicted A-level A*s for those made offers.
My understanding is that there is precedent for such a request being accepted in February 2017, and on more occasions since, and thus Section 22 or other exemptions cannot apply.
Best wishes,
William Samuel
