Accidents at the Union Street and Market Street junction in Aberdeen
Dear Scottish Ambulance Service,
Please can you provide me with the following information broken down by either month or season of the year (Spring [Mar-May], Summer [Jun-Aug], Autumn [Sep-Nov] and Winter [Dec-Feb]) for patients treated as a result of colliding with a vehicle at the junction of Market Street and Union Street in Aberdeen City Center between 2007 and 2012:
* Was the person a pedestrian, cyclist or in a vehicle.
* How your treatment finished (e.g. taken to a hospital, advised to see GP if required or left to get on with their day etc.).
My reason for asking is that I'm looking into whether the design of the lights installed in April 2009 had an influence on the effective safety of that junction, if your service had similar concerns and looked into it then please feel free to instead provide a copy of your report.
Yours faithfully,
Robert Gauld

Dear Mr Gauld,
I am writing in reference to your Freedom of Information Request
(FOI/1119/17). I have spoken with our Management Information team and we
are unable to provide information down to this level as a road junction
does not relate directly to a postcode.
We are able to provide this information by:
· Postcode area
· Council area
· Health board area
Please advise how you would like to proceed.
Many Thanks,
Lora

Dear FOI (SCOTTISH AMBULANCE SERVICE),
Thank you for your help, unfortunately, I feel none of those areas is small enough in order to allow me to get the answer this query was part of seeking.
Yours sincerely,
Robert Gauld
