Dear Business Services Organisation (Northern Ireland),

Please can you release the following information under the freedom of information act?

1. Who is the current provider of your access control system.

2. How many doors does this cover?

3. Does it include any other devices? If so, please break down into broad categories

4. When was this installed? At what cost?

5. If a contract is in place, when does this expire?

Dear Mr McMaster,

I am writing on behalf of BSO to firstly apologize for the delay in responding to you and your FOI request, this was due to an administrative error which is currently being investigated by the Corporate Services Office. Your request was processed under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Please be advised that the Business Services Organisation (BSO) has now completed its search for the information you requested with regards to Access control systems and can provide the following response:

1. Who is the current provider of your access control system.
Access control systems are purchased and managed in-house by BSO staff
2. How many doors does this cover?
Total of 35 doors
3. Does it include any other devices? If so, please break down into broad categories
The access control systems are for door access only.
4. When was this installed? At what cost?
The systems were installed in 2005 as part of a greater renovation project. As such specific installation costs are unavailable.
5. If a contract is in place, when does this expire?
No contracts are in place for access control provision.
