Abuse Victims, National Security Defence, Behaviour Modification & Police Investigations

[Name Removed] made this Freedom of Information request to Home Office This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

The request was refused by Home Office.

Dear Home Office,

Can you please confirm if you hold any data, in respect of the following:

1) Any data in respect of real false flag events that may have been specifically orchestrated to introduce a 'national security defence' to supplying information that may expose planned and organised abuse or may expose government complicity in planned and organised abuse?
2) Whether the Home Office, its employees or contractors have ever supported people to make false criminal accusations, in order to discredit genuine victims of similar crimes or to try and influence genuine victims to not pursue justice via the criminal justice system (i.e. to try and modify real victims behaviour if they are seeking justice)?
3) If the Home Office has ever pressured any Police force to not investigate serious criminal offences.

If you decline to supply any held information, please confirm the legal grounds upon which you are withholding this information.

Yours faithfully,

A [name removed]

Dear Home Office,

Thank you for answering question 1. I'd like to replace question 2 with a more specific and different request please, as follows:

2) Has the Home Office, its employees or contractors ever supported individuals or organisations to make or help facilitate people to make criminal accusations, in order to discredit genuine victims of similar crimes and/or to try and influence genuine victims not to pursue justice via the criminal justice system (i.e. to try and modify genuine victims behaviour) if they consider seeking justice for crimes committed against them, specifically in respect of the recent Westminster VIP abuse scandal and the recent Hampstead Ritualistic abuse scandal that occurred in Camden (if you require information about these, this is easily found via Google).

Yours faithfully,

Dear Home Office,

Please suggest ways this question could be altered to obtain the information/similar information requested without incurring costs. Given this request is for data that's both quite important and also can be answered (I feel) quite easily, please clarify why this request would take so long that it would incur costs.

Dear Home Office,

Thanks for providing some advice. So I'd like to refine as follows:

- Has the Home Office, its employees or contractors ever supported individuals or
organisations to make or facilitated people to make criminal accusations, that relate to child sexual abuse, between 2013-2015, for malicious purposes?

Dear Home Office,

You asked for a category and time period in order to simplify this request so you could supply this information free or charge, which I did.

You state it would still take too long and be too expensive to provide this information, so I’d like to refine this further as follows:

- Has the Home Office (including those working on behalf of the Home Office) ever supported anyone to make child abuse accusations, between 2013-September 2014), for malicious purposes?

If it it still too costly to comply after multiple refinements, as advised by you, please detail further ways this could be refined in order for you to comply.

Yours faithfully,

Dear Home Office,

Re: 53780

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Home Office's handling of my FOI request 'Abuse Victims, National Security Defence, Behaviour Modification & Police Investigations'.

The reason I am requesting a review is on the following grounds:

- I was told that my original request would be too costly.
- As per ICO guidance, I then sought your advice in terms of how the request could be revised, so it wasn't so costly and so some relevant data could be supplied.
- I then revised the request as per your guidance.
- Despite that, I was told it would still be too costly, which I feel is unreasonable, given I followed your advice in terms of how to revise it so it wasn't too costly.
- I also dispute that this would be too time consuming and costly to supply, so I request that this decision is reviewed and that if you are sticking by this decision, you properly advise me in respect of how it could be revised, so relevant data to my request can be supplied.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/a...
