requested information in relation to-Fixed Penalty notices issued in
2021/2022.

 

As your request relates to information which Council may hold about a

Environmental Information Regulations 2004 and, accordingly, please see
the response below.

 

Could we request the exact individual statistics for fixed penalty notices
in 2021/2022 for dog fouling. litter and fly tipping, straying and no dog
licence.

 

Newry Mourne Down Council hold the following figures  in relation to dog
fouling, littering and fly tipping for the period 01/04/2021 to
31/03/2022:

 

63 Littering fixed penalties

28 Fly tipping fixed penalties

29 Dog fouling fixed penalties

 

 

Regulation 6 (1) (b) of the Environmental Information Regulations states
that:
(1) Where an applicant requests that the information be made available in
a particular form or format, a public authority shall make it so
available, unless—
(a) it is reasonable for it to make the information available in another
form or format; or
(b) the information is already publicly available and easily accessible to
the applicant in another form or format

 

Newry Mourne Down Council do hold information relevant to your request
relating to straying and no dog licence  but the  information you are
