If the enquiry has been answered by the time BSO responsds, please provide:
- the date of that answer.
- directions as to where I can view that response (it may have been published on this whatdotheyknow.com website, for example)

Time is of the essence in this enquiry. For the avoidance of doubt, if another enquiry has not been answered by the time BSO responds to this request, I am content to receive just the details of that enquiry rather than incur a wait until the other enquiry is responded to.

Dear Business Services Organisation (Northern Ireland),

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Business Services Organisation (Northern Ireland)'s handling of my FOI request 'A report on FOI requests re Tender Number 453942 Non-Emergency Ambulance Transport Services'.

By law, BSO should have responded promptly and within the statutory limits. The response is now overdue by more than one week.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/a...

Yours faithfully,

Michael Gerner

Dear Mr Gerner,
I have been forwarded the email below regarding a recent Freedom of Information request (ref FOI 714).

I have been advised that the formal response has just been sent to you which was due no later than the 11/07/2017.

I would like to apologise for the delay in providing this response to you, this was due to an administrative error within the Corporate Services Department.

It is my understanding that the response was forwarded to the Chief Executive's office on the 7th of July and signed off accordingly.

Once again I apologise for the delay and I am happy to discuss further with you.

Regards

Peter Shepherd

Dear Mr Shepherd,

I notice my query has now been answered and I do appreciate your apology for the delay due to an administrative error.

Your team may like to note that the legislation mandates that the Authority must reply promptly and the 20 working days limit is exactly that: a limit, rather than a target.

However, I am content to let the matter rest there, and in the light of your prompt response to my raising the issue of the tardy reply, I now see no reason for a formal internal review. I am happy to withdraw that request.

Please thank your team for the effort undertaken to respond to my FOI request.

Thank you again for your courteous response.

Yours sincerely,

Michael Gerner
