A100 Medicine Admissions

The request was successful.

Dear University of Dundee,

I would like if possible to have the below information under the FOI act.

UCAT 2018 (For 2019 Entry), UCAT 2019 (For 2020 Entry) & UCAT 2020 (For 2021 Entry)

- Rest of UK statistics - lowest UCAT
What was the lowest UCAT score of a school leaver/undergraduate applicant from the rest of the UK to be provided with offer for the 5 year Medicine programme?

- EU statistics - lowest UCAT
What was the lowest UCAT score of a school leaver/undergraduate applicant from EU to be provided with offer for the 5 year Medicine programme?

How is the 40% UCAT weight allocated among UCAT deciles/score.

Does the university take into consideration UCAT official annotations for time lost during the exam due to tecnical issues? Is there a specific policy for this?

Yours faithfully,

Lida Horaitou

MBChB Medicine (A100) – lowest UCAT scores for non-Graduate offer holders

The University combines an Academic Score (based on certified and
predicted grades and contextual factors) and UCAT score. These scores were
weighted 60:40 Academic:UCAT for non-graduates and 40:60 Academic:UCAT for
graduates. We use the UCAT score by categorising the applicants in deciles
of UCAT performance. More information about the UCAT can be found
at [1]https://www.ucat.ac.uk/. We only look at the overall score and don't
take into account annotations.
