A100 Admissions statistics for graduate applicants
Dear Cardiff University,
Could I please request under the Freedom of Information Act the following information regarding the admission of graduate applicants only to your A100 (5-year) course from the last 3 application cycles: 19/20, 20/21, 21/22:
1. The number of graduate applications
2. The number of graduates given interviews
3. The number of final offers made to graduate applicants
4. Minimum UCAT score for a graduate with a 1:1 Honours degree that was subsequently invited to interview
5. Minimum UCAT score for a graduate with a 1:1 Honours degree that was subsequently given an offer
6. The UCAT cutoff for graduates for an interview
Additionally:
6. Do graduates compete for the same places as school leavers or are a set number of places reserved for graduates?
7. The number of places reserved on A100 for graduates (if any)
8. How does a graduates degree/A levels compare to a school leavers GCSE/ A levels during the application process?

Information about an applicant’s graduate status is held in individual
students records, the time involved in searching for and providing the
information you have requested would exceed the time limit (18 hours)
allowed under the Freedom of Information and Data Protection (Appropriate
Limit and Fees) Regulations 2004. Accordingly, section 12(2) of the
Freedom of Information Act 2000 will apply.

We do not have a specific quota for graduate applicants.
