Dear John,

Thank you for your request for information received on 3^rd February 202
requesting information held by Oxfordshire County Council Fire & Rescue
Service as follows:

·       How many 999 calls were received in the last year?

·       How many given the highest priority and how long until crews
arrived?

·       What are the guidelines or policy on grading calls with relevant
response times?

I am writing to ask you to clarify your request.  This is because we need
further details from you in order to identify the information you are
seeking. Therefore, I should be grateful if you would tell us the
following:

 1. For questions 1 and 2, please can you specify the date range you are
interested in e.g. last financial year, calendar year or rolling year
to date?

 2. In relation to the question on 999 calls received, Oxfordshire Fire &
Rescue Service share a Joint Thames Valley Fire Control Room with
Buckinghamshire and Royal Berkshire Fire & Rescue Services; please be
advised that we are unable to break call numbers down to show those
for just Oxfordshire. Additionally, we have two different incoming
call categories;

o 999 calls only; calls received directly from members of the public who
have actually dialled 999 and been routed by BT.
o Emergency calls; includes requests for assistance from Commercial
alarm receiving centres and other emergency services or public bodies
that have a dedicated number to contact us.

Please can you specify which of these categories you require call numbers
for.

Once we have these details your enquiry will be reconsidered and you will
receive the information requested, unless an exemption applies.

Please contact me if you would like some advice on refining your request.
Please remember to quote the reference number above in any future
communications.

Yours sincerely
