I am writing further to your request made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 received on 18 July 
2022.  NHS Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Integrated Care Board’s (ICB) response is set out below: 
 
I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information about the 
CCG/ICB clinical systems: 
 
1. Which clinical system/s does the organisation use across the region (EMIS/TPP or other)? 
a.      If there is a split across the region, what is the percentage? 
 
We are not able to comment on use across the region only within NHS Cambridgeshire & 
Peterborough ICB. 
 
TPP SystmOne and EMIS Web are used locally. 
 
For NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough the percentage split is 88% to 13% 
 
2. What online digital triage system is currently used? 
a.      Who currently provides the online digital triage? 
 
DoctorLink and AccuRx which have been contracted by the ICB. Some practices have chosen to 
select other online consultations systems independently of the ICB therefore other online 
consultation systems are in use locally. 
 
b.      What was the contract start date? 
 
                For DoctorLink and AccuRx - April 2022 extension 
 
c.      What is the contract end date? 
 
                DoctorLink – December 2022 
                AccuRx – September 2022

d.      What is the annual cost? 
 
                Approximately £230,000 
 
e.      What framework was used to procure the supplier? 
 
                Digital First Online Consultation and Video Consultation Framework 
                GP IT Futures Framework              
    Also, some direct award due to value size. 
 
f.      Will there be a tender to consider new providers? 
 
Possibly, dependent upon the values of the systems chosen by practices. The aim is for practices to 
choose system they wish to use rather than a central large-scale procurement. This may or may not 
result in a tender, but is quite unlikely due to the individual values involved. 
 
g.      If so, which framework will be used? 
 
                If required - Mixture from      
o  Digital First Online Consultation and Video Consultation Framework including direct award. 
o  GP IT Futures Framework 
o  G Cloud  
o  Practice may also choose to undertake direct supplier award due 
 
h.      When will this likely to occur? 
 
               (possibly) From September 2022
