Digital Communications with Patients.

We're waiting for Amanda Kelly to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust,

Do you use any applications or tools to communicate with your patients digitally?

I am interested in all aspects of patient communication, but particularly:

- Pre- and post-operative communication

- eConsent

- Outpatients

- Emergency Care

- Patient engagement at home

- Patient satisfaction

Please advise of the individual(s) (name and/or job title) with responsibility for developing digital communications with patients.

Also, do you have performance targets for monitoring patient satisfaction?

If so, please advise of the individual(s) (name and/or job title) with responsibility for monitoring or reporting on these targets.

We have been asked by a number of our departments, that we have asked for
information in response to your request, if we could clarify the following
in regard to your request:

 

What do you mean by ‘digitally’? Could you provide a clearer explanation?

 

• Do you want to include more general communication i.e. the Comms Team
re. twitter, facbook, Instagram etc. Or something else?

 

• Do you mean video triage? Or by using portals etc.

 

• Most of the Trusts contact with patients is by telephone, are you
including this in the context of ‘digital’

 

As soon as we receive your clarification, the 20 working day deadline
shall begin.
