belief groups such as Judaism and humanism . Engaging in a Trust wide chaplaincy volunteer
recruitment program seeking a diversity of provision from across the area served by the
Trust.
13. What spaces do you have for prayer, meditation or worship within your Trust, the
number of each type of space and what activities regularly take place in each space?
The Trust hospital and units have varied provisions for prayer/ meditation/ worship spaces.
Some have designated prayer rooms or multi-faith spaces, some sites make provision
through multiple use spaces. Due to Covid regulations , provision and variety has been
drastically curtailed but increased site provision is now starting to recommence. Historically
space is provided for Islamic prayer / Christian prayer gatherings as well as general quiet
spaces. Communion and other specific faith needs are sought to be facilitated via the
chaplaincy team.
