Dear
Ms Eleanor Shaikh,
Request under the Freedom of Information Act - FOI2022/00210
I refer to your request for information, received by Post Office Limited ("
Post Office")
on 13 March 2022, which I am dealing with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000
(“
FOIA”), as set out below:
The original Fujitsu/POCL contract for Horizon was released to the High Court
during GLO proceedings Bates v Post Office. It is referred to a number of times
in Judgement No. 6 ‘Horizon Issues’
(paras 601, 602, 603, 605, 608):

judgment.pdf
Please can you disclose this contract.
At present our view is that your request falls within the scope of qualified exemptions
including section 43(2) FOIA. As permitted by section 10 FOIA, Post Office requires
further time to consider the public interest test in relation to these exemptions. In
accordance with paragraphs 4.6 and 4.7 of the FOIA Code of Practice, Post Office
considers that an extension of 40 working days is appropriate in this instance and will
therefore aim to respond to you by 10 June 2022.
Yours sincerely,
David Sinclair
