Please note the table above is based on admissions and provides details on the number of
admissions to any NHS Grampian hospital where one of the listed ICD10 codes was
recorded in any diagnosis position during the patients stay. Secondary Diagnosis - is
defined as those conditions that co-exist or develop during the episode of healthcare and
affect the management of the patient. Due to the very low numbers involved these have
been represented by <5 as to provide the exact number may identify individual patients;
s.38(1)(b) of the Act refers – Personal information of a third party.
Under section 20 (1) of the Act, if you are dissatisfied with the way NHS Grampian has
dealt with your request, you have a right to request a review of our actions and decisions
in relation to your request, and you have a right to appeal to the Scottish Information
Commissioner.
