Thank you for your email of 17th September 2021 requesting admissions statistics for the University 
of Edinburgh’s MScR Regenerative Medicine and Tissue Repair programme. 
 
You requested the number of applications, offers made, and acceptances for the 2018/19, 2019/20, 
and 2020/21 academic years. This programme was first introduced for the 2019/20 academic year, 
so I have provided the information for the 2019/20 and 2020/21 academic years.

The term acceptances here refers to the number of applicants holding a UF offer who have not 
withdrawn their application at the end of the cycle. An applicant is UF if they have accepted an offer 
of a place and have met any conditions associated with that offer. Please note that a small number 
of these applicants may not go on to matriculate at the University, or may withdraw soon after the 
start of their degree. 
 
Right to review 
 
If you are dissatisfied with this response, you may ask the University to conduct a review of this 
decision by contacting the University's Records Management Section (www.ed.ac.uk/records-
management/about/contact) in writing (e.g. by letter or email) or in some other recorded form (e.g. 
audio or video tape).  You should describe the original request, explain your grounds for 
dissatisfaction, and include an address for correspondence.  You have 40 working days from receipt 
of this letter to submit a review request.  When the review process has been completed, if you are 
still dissatisfied, you may appeal to the Scottish Information Commissioner using the guidance 
at www.itspublicknowledge.info/Appeal.  If you do not have access to the Internet, please let me 
know and I will provide a copy of the relevant web pages.
