I would like copies of your employee handbooks. Specifically I wish to see handbooks, including absence and leave, conduct and performance management policies and rules for employees hired before and after Highways Agency became Highways England.

I'm particularly interested in how the rules for absence and conduct have changed since becoming a public company, in particular for minorities, those with disabilities or employees who are pregnant so please include any additional documentation or policies if there are specific documentation covering these topics.

However, I require the full handbook(s) covering employees hired before and after the change to Highways England.

information, which you requested on 18 June 2021.  A copy of the
information is attached, which is the employee handbook for employees who
transferred from the Civil Service in April 2015, and the current Managing
Attendance Policy which was introduced this year following consultation
with our recognised trade unions.  I also attached the Reasonable
Adjustments Policy, which relates specifically to the Equality Act 2010.

 

Most documents supplied by Highways England will be Crown Copyright. Most
