HI
Many thanks for site of the at ached and your summary of intentions. For your information I have at ached the current draft of what wil become JSP 850
(formerly 362 chapter 7). As you wil see, JSP 403 is referenced within.
It strikes me that the two documents wil remain in alignment, but it would be useful to have a chat over content once you have an updated draft available.

Please note I wil  be taking extended leave from Friday 27th April, returning to the office on Tuesday 29th May. If you have an urgent matter that
requires dealing with before I depart please make me aware.
Through the month of May I wil be undertaking the following charity event -
 Any donations wil
be greatly appreciated.

I just wanted to expand on what
said in his email. Please find the consultation for the inclusion of JSP 403 (amongst) others into the
DSA series of publications at this Link.
To put things into context, the regulation from DSA 02.5 is below, insert ‘and training areas’ after MOD ranges’ where applicable.

As a starter for ten and to get a draft underway, my intent is to simply copy, paste and organise the information from the latest draft of JSP
403 Vol 2 Chap 2 (at ached), the current JSP 403 Vol 1 Part 2 Chap 4 and from your’ PROW & legislated access guide’, essential y get ing
as much of what is out there into a single document. There wil  be reference to public access policy but the crux of the chapter wil  be around
procedures, signage, gates, barriers, boundary delineation measures – the physical stuf  i.e. ‘the how’.
Once draft is agreed by al  stakeholders (DIO SEE, Fin Mil Cap, OR & DTE) it wil  be passed as ‘Chap 28 to the draft JSP 403 Vol 2’ and
DSA wil  convert it into the DSA series format.
It took me a while to get my head around the issue, it would I think be a good idea to sit down and talk things through. Thanks.
Kind regards

I am in the office if you wish to discuss.
is leading on the re-write. I am keen to keep this moving, do we need to sit down together or can
move what we need into the DOSR Regulation and Guidance?
Many thanks,

Subject: 20180413-JSP Updates
Thanks for your time yesterday.
may have mentioned that my wider team (Environmental Support and Compliance) have been awaiting the update of
our relevant JSP for two years, if not more. It’s severely log jammed somewhere, hence why I didn’t mention it yesterday.
I’m using yesterday’s conversation as a prompt to see where FinMilCap are with updating it. It would be useful to ensure you have site so 403 and, what wil
become 850, can be correctly aligned.
Once I have relevant draft and any further info I’l send it over.
