M1 Junctions 17 - 16 southbound, on 5 June 2021 at 14:01.

According to our records the speed limit was set at 14:02:29 to 70mph.
This speed limit changed at 14:03:29 to 60mph this was due to congestion. 
Please note that enforcement of speed restrictions is the responsibility
of the police. We are unable to comment on or provide you with advice
about alleged offences because information held by the police will always
take legal precedence. This response is for information only and cannot be
used in court for challenging an allegation of offending.
