You asked us:
1) “How many deaths in Scotland from Covid 19, with no other health issues”
2) “and the average age of the people that died, during the year 2020.”
Response to your request
1) For a breakdown of deaths with no pre-existing conditions please see the
following tab

registered between March 2020 to February 2021.
Alternatively, you may find interest in figures 9 and 10 of the monthly publication
found he
re https://www.nrscotland.gov.uk/files//statistics/covid19/covid-deaths-21-
data-week-14.xlsx which outline the main pre-existing conditions by month and age.
The information you have requested is available from our website and we have
provided you with direct links. Under section 25(1) of FOISA, we do not have to
provide you with information if it is already reasonably accessible to you.
2) For the information you require on the average age at death of deaths involving
Covid-19 in 2020 please see the attached table. Please note these figures are for
deaths that occurred in 2020 and will differ from the figures for deaths registered as
some deaths occurred in 2020 but were registered in 2021.
