Dear Sid Shekhavat

Thank you for your email received 12/03/2021, requesting information
regarding the above Subject

Your request has been dealt with under the terms of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 and has been answered within twenty working days.
Please see below our response to you:

"1. How many properties do you currently have on Temporary Accommodation?
The Council owns a temporary accommodation block which currently has 41
self-contained units of accommodation.

2. Please can you advise us on the maximum that is paid per night for a
Studio, 1 Bed, 2 Bed, 3 Bed & 4 Bed? Any privately procured nightly-paid
accommodation (often referred to as 'B&B') is purchased 'on spec' for
individual needs and there is no pre-agreed maximum rate. The Council has
a responsibility to customers and tax payers to ensure it achieves value
for money in any spot-purchasing of nightly-paid accommodation.

3. Who are your largest 5 suppliers and how much do you pay them on
average every month? CDC does not have formal suppliers of temporary
accommodation.

4. If we were to supply accommodation on this basis, please can you give
us contact names and telephone numbers of the procurement team? The
procurement team are not involved with the purchasing of 'on spec' nightly
paid temporary accommodation. The Housing Options Manager, Chris Dixon,
can be contacted on 01243 534 734."
