Dear Lisa, Re: Request for Information – Freedom of Information Act 2000
I wish to confirm that the Place Directorate has now completed its search for the
information which you requested by e-mail on 11 March 2021.
Your questions and my findings are as follows:-
1. how it costs for the tms per day at each recycling centre in Barnsley?
Smithies --- £386.58 - £530.17
Penistone --- £442.04 - £631.48
Goldthorpe --- £364.76 - 917.61
Worsbrough --- £1,001.21 - 1,376.67
(values depending on winter or summer, weekday or weekend hours)
2. How much it cost each day the park in town center and why are they there?
The vehicles referred to are, in conjunction with static concrete blocks, bollards
etc. deployed to prevent vehicle access to the pedestrian precincts. Vehicles are
currently utilised so they can be quickly moved to allow emergency access as
required. Our highways teams are currently exploring options to replace the
vehicles with suitable gates and we anticipate these being installed in the near
future Our town centre redevelopment plans include incorporation of suitable
long-term hostile vehicle mitigation measures.
3. How much has it cost in total for the service from the company for 2020?
01.04.20 - 25.03.21 HWRC
Traffic Management - £466,921
Chevron - £64,325 Highways
Traffic Management - £612,716
Chevron - £262,670
