Please provide the following in relation to this acquisition:

1) Copies of internal correspondence related to the decision to acquire the blimp
2) Copies of correspondence with the source of the blimp, including any agreed remuneration

Many thanks for your Freedom of Information request, as sent 19th January 2021, which requested the following information:

1) Copies of internal correspondence related to the decision to acquire the blimp
2) Copies of correspondence with the source of the blimp, including any agreed remuneration.

Please find copies of the correspondence attached. We would also like to clarify that the Trump blimp was donated to the Museum and no payment was made.

Please note that under Section 40 (2) of the Freedom of Information Act, we have withheld the names and contact details of third parties involved in the correspondence as there is no lawful basis for processing this data and releasing it to you, and its release would breach GDPR principle A. We have also redacted Museum of London email addresses, and the names of employees not in the Senior Leadership Team, as it is not our policy to publish them.
