Internet access: this is a partially online module with synchronous and asynchronous
activities on discussion boards and chat rooms. Full-time internet access or full week
access (through college or learning centre) and appropriate computer specification is
essential.
Students must be able to access the online resources available through the UHI
Library.

Employability / graduate skills
On completing this module the student will have gain an in-depth understanding of the
applications of integrative healthcare within palliative care. This will be enhanced with
clinical experience and an evidence based research project. The student will have
developed their ability to; organising resources, to maximise efficiency, time
management, critical-thinking skills and networking within the community.

This module provides the opportunity to further explore and analyse the
application of integrative healthcare within a palliative care setting. A blended
learning approach will allow for evidence based research, practical
experience and for the students to participate in group work and
presentations.
