Litter picking resources for the borough

The request was successful.

Dear Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council,

Can you please reply to the following questions:-

1. What is the litter picking crew size employed (ie: total no. of operatives) whether directly by TMBC / or via your appointed contractor and including hit squad?

2. How many of these have been furloughed in the last 12 months.

3. The total amount of money paid by TMBC to the appointed contractor for litter picking in the borough since they were awarded the contract and up to the end of 2020?

4. How many performance related penalties or penalty points under the contract have been levied by the council against the appointed contractor for the same period?

5. How many individuals are available to the council whether in house or via third party that are authorised to issue fixed penalty notices for littering or fly tipping offences in the borough?

6. How many FPN’s have been issued by TMBC in 2020?

Yours faithfully,

Danny Lucas
