Thank you for your email of 2 October 2020 in which you request the following information:
“You have previously answered this question for ACSC courses 14-18: see following link for
the details and rapid methodology:
Please repeat with the same table for the courses 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23 added to the original
table. Please also provide a total for the number of people leaving before 30 months for all
courses from 14-23 (10 courses) and, the total number repaying a training return of service
for all courses from 14-23 (10 courses). I am aware that courses 21, 22, and 23 are not yet
at 30 months after the end of the course so please include those who have departed service
by the date you complete the work and confirm this date below the table.”

difficulties in getting confirmation of the final elements of the data.
We are treating your correspondence as a request for information under the Freedom of

you have requested. Information in scope of your request is provided in the table at Annex A.
However, in order to protect personal information governed by the Data Protection Act 2018,
Section 40(2) of the FOIA has been applied to parts of it. The reason for this is because there are
a low number of records within scope of your request and releasing this information could
potentially enable identification of individuals, either now or in the future, when it might be
combined with other information. Section 40 is an absolute exemption and there is therefore no
requirement to consider the public interest in making a decision to withhold the information.
