Buslane gateway at bottom of Gosford Street

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Coventry City Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Coventry City Council,

I would like to know the following about the buslane gateway on Gosford Street pleasr.

#1 How many fines have been issued between 1st Jan 2015 & 1st September 2020
#2 How many were cancelled when the person appealed to council
#3 How many were cancelled when the person appealed to the external appeals board
#4 Looking at google streetview the blue buslane gateway round signs were changed for a bigger size after 2018. When did this change happen and for what reasons
#5 Why does the signage approaching the buslane gateway not match the scheme plan drawing made by the council.
#6 Historic paper coverage indicates the buslane gateway signs are in the wrong place as they are not at the start of the buslane. Why have the signs not been put at the start of this buslane gateway
#7 Do any other of the citys buslane gateways havegateway signs that are not at the start of the restriction area?

Thank you for email.

To clarify, the ICO advise that ‘Any variation of the requester’s title or
first name combined with their surname (e.g. Mr Smith or John Smith) will
be sufficient to meet this requirement. However, a first name or surname
provided in isolation, or a set of initials, will not.’

Dear Information Governance,

The ICO also say it is good practice for the public authority to still consider a request made using an obvious pseudonym. So even though I have used my real first name, you still refuse the request until I provide you with my surname? I have already told you my name is KianJames. I am unsure what the issue is here?

I confirm that I making the request on behalf of BusLaneAction. This is a collective organisation and by the same ICO guidance, we can make the request on behalf of the collective.

Please confirm you will now process.

As per our previous email, the ICO guidance states:

‘Any variation of the requester’s title or first name combined with their
surname (e.g. Mr Smith or John Smith) will be sufficient to meet this
requirement.’

In your initial request you have provided your forename Kian-James and as
per the above guidance this is insufficient to meet the definition of
‘real name’. Once we have received confirmation of your surname we will be
able to proceed with your request.

Dear Place Business Support,

Dudes and Dudettes. It's totally bogus that this has come from Place Business Support. That is where all the cats work who make stuff up!

Q4 you chat "Further to requests received, larger signs were installed. We do not hold an exact date
on our systems for an exact date for when the signs were installed however we can
confirm that they were in place by February 2019. "
*Who were the requests from(e.g. public? fellow council cats?)and how many were there?

Q5 "We do not have a ‘scheme plan’ on record to be able to fully respond on this matter. If a
copy of the plan that you are referring to could be sent to us, we will be able to
investigate any discrepancy."
*You cats don't have the plans for the signing of a busgateway? So what do you send to the appeals judges when brothers and sisters push back on paying? Please provide any documentation you have showing the signage layout. If you don't have any pray tell why.

Q6 "The signs are located in accordance with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General
Directions 2016. In regard to the location of the bus gate signs, the following extract of
the TSRGD applies and the signs have been located on accordance with item 1 (2) due
to the layout of the road.
*Man they are not placed in accordance at all .The existing layout of the road was formed around the busgateway. Before this there was no right turn in to what is now the Far Gosford Pay & Display Car Park. Is the permitted right turn in to the car park the reason the busgateway signage is not at the start of the busgateway lane? Is that what you mean by "due to the layout of the road"?

Q7 "Signage is always placed as near as practicable to the start of the restriction."
*Dudes this ain't what I asked. Are there any other of these lanes where signage isn't at the start of the lane, whether that is due to bogus road layout or whatevs? This place is like having a No Entry sign half way down a one-way street. Cats are already down the lane before they know it and can't get out cos of the island things on the road. It's a cash-funnel dudes!

Play it straight dudes!

Dear Sir/Madam,

The system currently used generates a unique reference anytime a request,
either an original or a review is received and logged. Hence the reason
why you have received a new reference. Having a unique reference number
allows us to track this on the system.

We trust this clarifies why you have received this further
acknowledgement.

Kind regards

Dear Information Governance,

Of course.

Thank you.

Dear Information Governance cats,

This morning you dudes said "it is down to the Tribunal as to when they update their website, we have no control over this". You have also spat the lyric
that you are reviewing the frequency that you update the TRO library.
Question, what is your current adopted frequency of the review of the library fillings my amigos?

The righteous brothers and sisters at the Tribunal have confirmed that the TRO library is updated by you council cats yourselves and that you haven't updated anything in the library of documents since 2016.
Question, Why wouldn't you update for 5 years?

You dudeskis are always on social media for this flava of slopaganda. What's the score?

Peace and Lovings.

Dear Sir,

Further to your correspondence below, we would reiterate the process as
explained in our original response.

With regards to your query as to why this has not been done for five
years, we would advise that previously this was done periodically with no
set timeframe. This is now being reviewed to make it a more regular
occurrence, although at the present time we do not have specific details
as to what the timeframes will be.

However we would emphasise that if an appeal was submitted, the documents
were uploaded then.

Kind regards
