Register of Interest entry for Cllr Joanne Calvert

Dear Liverpool City Council,

1. The June 2018 Register of Interests showed that Mayor Joe Anderson’s daughter, Cllr Joanne Calvert, was Senior PR Assistant with Daniel Hughes PR Agent. Please advise the date on which Cllr Calvert started this position and the date on which it ceased (as there is no corresponding entry in the July 2019 Register).

2. Please advise whether Cllr Calvert was employed by Daniel Hughes PR so that income tax etc was deducted and remitted under PAYE or whether this was work she carried out on a self employed basis.

3. Daniel Hughes PR worked on the Fox Street Village development in Everton, where the director of the companies behind that unfinished development was Gary Howard. Information available via the Companies House website clearly shows Gary Howard’s involvement with other failed developers Elliot Lawless (via 1Dom Ltd) and Kerry Tomlinson (via Fox Street Village Ltd, St Cyprians Student Halls Ltd etc).

(a) Was Cllr Calvert aware that by working with Daniel Hughes PR and Gary Howard she was effectively also linked to both Elliot Lawless and Kerry Tomlinson?

(b) Did Cllr Calvert meet with:
(i) Gary Howard or
(ii) Elliot Lawless or
(iii) Kerry Tomlinson

4. Was the Mayor, Joe Anderson, aware of his daughter’s connection with these three developers who have been responsible for a number of unfinished develoments across the City?

Absolutely wrong response. In terms of 'Matters relating to specific employment YES Cllr Calvert should have put on her Register of Interests on the LCC website that she worked for Daniel Hugh's company.....PLEASE REMEMBER THAT FOX ST VILLAGE IS AN ABSOLUTE CRIMINAL MESS THAT HAS COST THE COUNCIL A HUGE AMOUNT OF TAXPAYERS MONEY IN SECURITY COSTS
