Dear Police Scotland,
Under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002
I would like to know the following,

I have recently come across information from a retired Police Scotland officer that Police Scotland has a “special branch” providing specialist detective powers and close protection so,

1) Does Police Scotland currently or have ever had a “special branch”

Yours faithfully,

Aaron McCann
