I write in response to the above-referenced Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request 
submitted on 16 August 2019. The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) 
for Thames Valley has now considered this request, which for clarity, has been repeated 
below:

My questions that i want to ask under the 
The OPCC can confirm that there is no 
Freedom of Information Act are the 
information held in relation to your 
following:

1. Judge Simon Oliver is a Berkshire 
Freemason. Does the Police know this and 
has Judge Simon Oliver been investigated 
for this? The link to Mr Oliver in his

2. How many complaints have been made 
against Judge Simon Oliver in the last 7 
years to the police? 
 
3. Has the Police received any complaints 
against Judge Simon Oliver taking bribes in 
court? 
 
4. Does Judge Simon Oliver play golf with 
the Borough Commander and come to the 
Reading police station Christmas parties? 
 
5. Judge Simon Oliver has been accused 
by substantial number of people that he 
makes request for sexual favours in return 
for favoured judgements? He has also 
been accused of 'nipple tweaking' in the 
courtroom. This would be regarded as a 
sexual assault. Has the Police received any

complaints to this effect and can i have a 
copy of the complaint and response? 
 
6. Judge Simon Oliver is also accused of 
sitting as a Court of Protection judge prior 
to 2015 in several cases when he did not 
hold a nominated license, can the Police 
clarify how many Court of protection cases 
Judge Simon Oliver sat prior to 2015? And 
have any allegations of fraud been made 
against him? 
 
7. Are there any investigation records on 
file for Judge Simon Oliver and can i have 
a copy of these? 
 
8. Has Judge Simon Oliver been 
investigated in the past by the police for 
taking bribes or any other crimes?
